Position Summary: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing a demand and inventory plan to enable the company to meet sales and service objectives. Responsibilities include accurate control of all raw material inventory, cycle counts, physical counts, production planning, deployment, inventory reconciliation, MRP and O&D requests. Responsible for leading the activities of the Inventory team to ensure effective use of resources with a focus on inventory accuracy, inventory levels and customer service. This position provides support to other departments such as Accounting, FSQ, Corporate Marketing, Buyers and the Distribution Center supporting inventory related issues. The Supply Chain Manager maintains and improves the integrity of the inventory processes and systems, proactively monitors key performance indicators and reports data to stakeholders. Essential Duties: Strategic and tactical Supply Planning and management of RM & FG inventory. Cross functional collaboration as part of S&OP process and primary owner of Supply Review. Leading a planning team and managing talent development and evaluation of current team’s abilities. Presenting data to stakeholders and motivating / influencing them to make the best business decision given all available information. Evaluate KPIs and ensure consistency in accountabilities. Assists with all other duties as requested or assigned by the Plant Manager Leads others in safe work practices Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required Additional information: Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely and consistently Maintains a positive attitude Must have effective written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Minimum Qualifications – Education, Skills & Abilities: Preferred Oracle JD Edwards Atomic PKMS Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with ERP system(s), Oracle JD Edwards Experience with Warehouse Management System(s), Atomic / PKMS Excellent communication skills and ability to work well on cross-functional teams. Highly effective manager with ability to evaluate, develop, and manage direct reports of varying skill levels. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into plans, actions and improvements. In addition to managing the team, this is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to roll-up their sleeves and complete regularly scheduled and on demand analytics, as well as verifying all plans comping out of the team are streamlined and accurate. Must be able to multitask and re-prioritize workload frequently. Must be detailed oriented and extremely organized. Inventory management of all RM and FG inventory levels O&D Department overtime management Meet or exceed Customer Fill Rate (CFR) to ensure sales fulfillment Organizational Relationships: Safety, Food Safety and Quality, Manufacturing (Receiving, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Shipping), Purchasing, Distribution Center, Human Resources, Accounting, Vendors/Suppliers, B&G Corporate Purchasing, Marketing, Operation Planning, other B&G Departments and Facilities, Third Party Auditors, Contractors Supervisory/Functional Management Requirements: Manages more than one function with supervisory responsibility and budget responsibilities List titles and grade levels of direct reports: Manages more than one function with supervisory responsibility and budget responsibilities Directly supervises 3 employees Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Standard manufacturing/office environment, percentage of required travel, physical demands (ability to lift, climb, stand, etc.) Company Expectation: Demonstrates an understanding of, and adherence to Company’s Mission & Values Conduct reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the expected conduct Dependable and good attendance Ability to work well and communicate with all employees Work Traits: Exhibits a professional appearance at all times in the work environment.
